These photographs represent the kids' exploration and discovery of the underwater world, and of themselves.

"Beautiful Bryozoan" by Anthony, 16 | Under the Surface 2014
This bryozoan colony is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. And they were everywhere and they were huge! This is why I love underwater photography. You get to see awesome things everyone else doesn't even know exists.
About Anthony: 'My home town is the Superior/Duluth area, it is amazing and beautiful. My favorite thing to do is Motorcross. My other hobby would be anything in the outdoors. I have been struggling with meth addiction since I was 14. I have been in too many run-ins with the law since then. I have had this bad struggle with drugs and I'm just starting to change my life around. I'm planning on going into the military when I am 18."
