"Pine Needles" by Jake, 15 | The Pioneers
I took this picture because pine trees stand out as really strong to me. And I think everybody likes pine needles because they are one of the really pretty things in nature.
About Jake: "I'm a freshman from Oregon, WI. I've been through a rough time in my life, and I've made a lot of bad decisions, but I'm hoping to turn around my life now so I don't go any more downhill than I already am. But when I get out of here, I hope to explore the same habits that I made at NWP like running and working out every day because I think I've gone a really long way since I've been here. I love this photography unit, and I think it has helped me express myself."
