"Feel the Rain" by Zana, 17 | Prairieview Nature Photography
Rain drops are like Earths tears
Yet we all stand strong through our fears
We think that if we don't say what we feel that no one hears
We feel things like medications or “help” never truly cures
Why do we as humans feel pain
We decide to hide everything behind a sheet
We cry in the rain
And always hope no one will see our defeat
I always ask what true defeat is
What it looks like
I feel that I never get a true answer
It all depends on a persons opinions and views
I feel like everyone is going through the motions and listening to cues
That every emotion moves as an elusive dancer
In these words I sing my feelings through a mic
We all know what pain is but that doesn't matter, how we deal with it is the real mystery
This delicate rose symbolizes something fragile and beautiful that stood through the storm and made it. It shows me that we can all make it. The storm will not last forever, we can all make it.
I want you to know that we can all face our fears
We can dry our tears
We can stand strong together
Pain never lasts forever
Go ahead and be yourself
Be your form of beautiful
About Zana: "My name is Zana. I am 17 1/2 . I am not from one place. I love to write and sing. I struggle with relationships and addiction. I hope that in the near future I will be my own stable person. I have many hopes and dreams they just sometimes seem out of reach. I want to be confident enough to take that leap and secure them. Photography and writing are everything to me. I can get lost and find myself in the words I write or the pictures I take. They release me and show me what I, myself can do. I show things from my perspective and make people feel what I want them to with my writing. I love it."
