"Hidden Worlds" by Mitchell, 15 | Northwoods Revealed

This frog, small yet filled with courage and bravery. He reminds me through his daringness. Even if I may be filled with fear that chokes my heart and engulfs my mind, I can remember that all I need to do is retract into my surroundings. Not necessarily running or confronting what stands against me, but defying it. Not succumbing to its wants or needs for me. I’ll close my eyes and wait patiently knowing it will pass. Once my eyes flutter open taking in where time has taken me, I will adjust rediscovering the new world and me. I shall do this repeatedly until one day I arrive where I need to no more.

About Mitchell: "I was sent to NWP due to social anxiety and struggling with school. I hope I can get a job close to home and go to college for nursing.
