Newest Light: Sarah, 18 - "Trees and Sun"
There once was a time when only the sun shone, and this is this story of how the moon had been requested:
“Hello” says the sun, peeking out from the trees.
I’m a mountain climber and it’s getting quite hard to breath.
I look up and see the rays, of sunlight gleaming before I begin to say
“Hello yourself what a fine summer day, how come you never talked before? You must have a lot to say?”
The sun just shone on me with scorching heat, so I went to the tree to sit underneath.
Then the sun grew sad and said “ Do you not like my sunlight? I could send the moon but she will rule only a certain amount of time before I must pop up again is that such a crime?”
The man considered the offer and said yes right away, for if the moon could not stay at least the sun would show another day.
