"Croc Entering Water" by Renny, 19 | Costa Rica
After we had waded up to our waists in a stream, he noticed this crocodile staring at us from 50 yards away.
About Renny: "My name is Renny. I am from Colby, WI. Birds that fly all the way from Wisconsin down to Costa Rica face extreme challenges and in my life, I feel like I can relate because I face those challenges as well. Northwest Passage helped me realize that everything can always be better. I have all these opportunities and ways to fix myself so deep down I feel really happy. One of my favorite quotes is, “You need to love yourself before you can love someone.” My journey, my challenge, is for self-acceptance and being able to accept myself fully is a lifelong goal."
