So when does a person shift from being a person you know, into a memory? In our heads, we know a certain version of that individual, like a frozen snapshot of them in time; what they looked like, their mannerisms, how they talk, what they talk about. Years later, there’s a whole new person. Different memories, different interests, maybe even differing personalities. There can be a resemblance, but change is inevitable.
