"Icicle" by Angela, 16 | April 2019
The water never made it to the ground, because the cold biting air froze it in its place. So now the poor, scared, lonely water drop will have to wait until the snow melts to make it to the ground where it can help a tree grow or help the soil. So hopefully the hot sun will melt the icicle so the trees can grow.
About Angela: "My name is Angela. I’m at Northwest Passage because I was really struggling with depression, anxiety, anger issues, and (my person vendetta) ADHD. But now my only problem is the ADHD, because I get so hyper! Photography has helped me a lot. I liked photography before NWP, but I couldn’t get a camera that could take quality nature pictures. My favorite memory for IaNL has to be when we went on a photo trip to McKenzie Lake and we all climbed the trees. We had so much fun that day. I also would like to believe that I have a deep connection with nature, I go outside every time that I can. I love the outside. And nature photography has just guided that connection even deeper."
