"Not Knowing" by Anna, 16 | July 2021
This mussel and I have some things in common. A mussel doesn’t really choose where they go. They get pushed around in the water.
Right now, I don’t have much choice in where I go, but I have a choice in how I react to not knowing where I’ll be pushed around to.
I could be mad or sad. But I choose to keep my head up and go with the flow, like a mussel.
